Bin Laden’s Speech Contains Hidden Message

The latest video tape made by al-Qaeda leader Osamah Bin Laden prior to the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks contained a satanical fatwa which appears to have escaped journalists and experts on both sides of the Atlantic.
For those who fail to understand the language and theology of al-Qaeda his words may seem to contain no overt threat to the American public however to his army of wolves the howls of their ideologue and supreme commander are loud and clear.
“You permitted Bush to complete his first term, and stranger still, chose him for a second term, which gave him a clear mandate from you — with your full knowledge and consent — to continue to murder our people in Iraq and Afghanistan. Then you claim to be innocent! The innocence of yours is like my innocence of the blood of your sons on the 11th — were I to claim such a thing,” he stated.
In this recent tape Bin Laden is reminding his supporters that he deems those who live in the West to be as guilty as their leaders, because they democratically elected their Governments, and therefore they are lawful targets, men, women and children.
One journalist wrote, failing to grasp the implication of these words:
“The speaker makes no overt threats to the US and did not directly call for attacks, according to transcripts of the tape obtained by several media organisations in the United States.”
It is no miraculous coincidence that Mohammed Sidique Khan, the suicide bomber, who killed and injured innocent civilians in London, on the 7th of July, justified his actions with words similar to those of Bin Laden. This proves there is more to Bin Laden’s message than meets the eye. To his deranged followers this is a green light to murder again.
Mohammed Sidique Khan said:
“Your democratically elected governments continuously perpetuate atrocities against my people all over the world. And your support of them makes you directly responsible, just as I am directly responsible for protecting and avenging my Muslim brothers and sisters.
Until we feel security, you will be our targets. And until you stop the bombing, gassing, imprisonment and torture of my people we will not stop this fight. We are at war and I am a soldier. Now you too will taste the reality of this situation.”
This very reasoning is used by neo-Jihadists throughout the world to justify extremism, fanaticism and terrorism.
Regardless of whether or not Mohammed Sidique Khan was a fully fledged member of al-Qaeda one thing that cannot be denied is that Bin Laden et al were his spiritual leaders, as he testified to himself.
“I myself, I myself, I make dua (pray) to Allah... to raise me amongst those whom I love like the prophets, the messengers, the martyrs and today's heroes like our beloved Sheikh Osama Bin Laden, Dr Ayman al-Zawahri and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and all the other brothers and sisters that are fighting in the... of this cause,” the London bomber said.
The London bombings were a shocking example of how this kind of fatwa inspires people to commit crimes against humanity.
It would be naïve to consider this creed as a new phenomenon with no historical roots. This type of behavior and thinking can be traced back to the Azraqis who were a deviant sect of the past founded by Naafi’ Ibn Al-Azraq (d 685); and this group were notorious for the belief that it was acceptable according to Islamic law to massacre women and children of their opposition.
A well-known orientalist and historian wrote:
“This puritanical theology became a justification for sheer terrorism, and the Azraqis became noted and feared for their wide spread massacres.”
History is once again repeating itself. But instead of the Azraqis we find al-Qaeda, an ideology more than a sophisticated organization, behind the bombings and massacres which have occurred in Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen, Kenya, Indonesia, USA, Britain, and Spain.
This belief has been heavily propagated since the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. More than twelve years ago Abu Qatada, reportedly the European mastermind of al-Qaeda, issued verdicts where he revived the creed of the Azraqis, condoning the killing of the wives and children of Muslims, in places such as Algeria, who he wrongfully labeled as apostates. So imagine what they are willing to do to non-Muslims!
“People of knowledge (scholars) have mentioned in their books that in this situation it is permissible to bombard the apostates with weaponry that contains explosive material which kills them, their women and children,” Abu Qatada wrote in an Arab Jihadist magazine (Ansaar, 30/3/1995).
The danger of these fatwas should never be underestimated and to do so will be to our peril, as these words have proven to be deadlier than a sword.
